Part of my work is holding a vision of fresher futures of human intimacy. I don't want us only getting naked, honest and trusting in pairs of two behind closed doors. I don't want us lonely and touch-starved, where the only permitted avenues to get our needs met are impossibly narrow. I want to live in a world with choice, with skill around communication and touch, and with a variety of relational styles that allow human diversity to flourish. I get excited about building these skills together, and creating spaces that allow us to move a step farther into what's true, possible, and generative for all of us.
Personally, I want to see erotic energy treated as the immense resource that it is, and to live in structures that allow eroticism to healthily expand out into kaleidoscopic networks of collaboration, care and coexistence. If that means a lifetime of building those structures, I'm here for it.
About me
I approach this work as lifelong vocational study. From being the person friends came to to pull their stuck menstrual cup out of them, to academic, spiritual and community studies in sexuality, I have been tending to the most intimate parts of my community for as long as I can remember. I hold them tenderly, and honor the immense vulnerability that is shared with me with great care.
I am an energy worker, and spend much of my time studying the subtle layers of the body: the various mechanisms by which stagnancy forms and gets released, and the reasons why. Being able to use erotic energy as a healer is a gift. It is a powerful force that can generate movement quickly, and connects in to all aspects of our wellbeing. It's also an area that we hold so much darkness around culturally, that shining a bit of light goes a long way.
